How We Coat Your Garage

Every GFS garage floor follows a proven 4-step process. No shortcuts, no guesswork — just a floor that lasts.

01

Free Inspection & Quote

We visit your home, assess your garage floor condition — cracks, moisture, previous coatings — measure the area, and provide a fixed-price quote on the spot. No surprises, no hidden costs. We'll also bring colour samples so you can see them against your actual concrete.

02

Diamond Grinding & Prep

We diamond-grind the entire concrete surface to remove contaminants, open pores, and create the ideal profile for the epoxy to bond. All cracks, divots, and imperfections are repaired. This is the step most DIY kits and cheap operators skip — and it's why their floors peel.

03

Epoxy Coating Application

Primer is applied first, followed by the base coat with your chosen colour or flake blend broadcast in. A UV-stable polyurethane topcoat seals everything for maximum durability and the finish you want — matte, satin, or gloss. We use commercial-grade products, not hardware store kits.

04

Curing & Handover

We walk you through the finished floor, provide cure time guidance (24 hours foot traffic, 5–7 days for vehicles), and hand over your after-care guide. Your 3-year warranty starts from completion day.

Had our double garage done with the charcoal flake. Looks absolutely unreal. The boys were in and out in a day and a half. Can't recommend GFS enough.

The young man who did our floor was delightful. He cleaned up afterwards. He was flexible with his start time which worked well with us and we are very happy with the result. Fantastic job

Top blokes, top job. My garage floor was in terrible shape — oil stains, cracks everywhere. Now it looks like a showroom. Best money I've spent on the house.

Got the metallic epoxy done and it's honestly the talking point of the house now. Everyone who walks in can't believe it's a garage floor. Thank you GFS!

Professional from start to finish. They prepped the floor properly, explained everything, and the result is exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend for anyone on the Gold Coast.

Why GFS? What Makes Us Different

Plenty of companies offer "epoxy flooring." Here's why Gold Coast homeowners keep choosing us over the rest.

01

We Diamond Grind Every Floor

No acid etching, no shortcuts. Diamond grinding is the only way to create a permanent bond between the epoxy and your concrete. Every job gets the full treatment.

02

Commercial-Grade Products Only

We use professional-grade epoxy and polyurethane topcoats — the same products used in factories and warehouses. Not the watered-down kits from the hardware store.

03

We Don't Subcontract

Our crew does every job. When Adam quotes your floor, his team coats it. No random subcontractors, no inconsistency, no finger-pointing if something goes wrong.

04

Fixed Pricing, No Surprises

You get a written quote at your inspection. That's the price — no add-ons, no "we found extra damage" surprises. What we quote is what you pay.

05

3-Year Written Warranty

Every residential job comes with a 3-year limited warranty. We stand behind our work because we know it lasts. Most of our floors from 2015 still look brand new.

06

Locally Owned & Operated

We're not a franchise or a national chain. GFS is a Gold Coast business built on word-of-mouth from real local customers. Your neighbours probably already know us.

Why Pacific Pines Homeowners Choose Epoxy

Pacific Pines is one of the Gold Coast's fastest-growing suburbs, and with new builds and established homes side by side, garage floors here cop everything, dust from nearby bushland trails, mud from weekend footy at Pacific Pines State High, and oil drips from the family SUV.

Our epoxy coatings are built for the Gold Coast climate, UV-stable resins that won't yellow in the Queensland sun, and moisture-tolerant systems that handle the humidity Pacific Pines sees year-round.

Whether you're in the streets off Pavilion Drive or closer to the Pacific Pines Town Centre, we service every pocket of the 4211 postcode. Most Pacific Pines garages are done in a single day with minimal disruption.

Epoxy Garage Flooring FAQs

Here are the most common things Pacific Pines homeowners ask before getting their garage floor coated. Can't find your answer? Give us a call — we're happy to chat.

Call Us
How long does it take to coat a garage floor?

Most residential garages are completed in 1–2 days. You can walk on the floor after 24 hours and park your car after 5–7 days once the topcoat has fully cured.

Will epoxy peel off my garage floor?

Not when properly prepared. Peeling happens when the concrete isn't ground correctly or moisture is present. Our diamond grinding and moisture testing ensures the epoxy bonds permanently.

How much does epoxy garage flooring cost?

Single garages start from $2,200 inc GST. Double garages are $2,700 and triples $3,500. All prices include full surface preparation, crack repair, and our standard colour range.

Can I choose my own colour or flake blend?

Absolutely. We have a standard colour range included in our pricing, plus premium options including metallic finishes and custom flake blends. We bring samples to your inspection.

Is epoxy flooring slippery when wet?

A standard gloss finish can be slippery when wet. We offer anti-slip aggregate additives for any finish — highly recommended if your garage opens directly outdoors.

Will epoxy handle car tyres and chemicals?

Yes. Our commercial-grade epoxy and polyurethane topcoat resist hot tyre pickup, oil, brake fluid, battery acid, and household chemicals without staining or peeling.

What's the difference between epoxy and garage floor paint?

Garage floor paint sits on top and wears away in 1–2 years. Epoxy chemically bonds to the concrete, creating a permanent surface that's 10x harder and far more durable.

Do I need to move everything out of my garage?

Yes, the garage needs to be cleared before we start. We need full access for diamond grinding and coating. Most homeowners use their driveway or carport temporarily.

Do you service Pacific Pines?

Absolutely! Pacific Pines is one of our most popular service areas. We cover the entire Gold Coast — Mermaid Waters, Robina, Coomera, Nerang, Burleigh, Mudgeeraba, Ormeau, Coolangatta, and everywhere in between.
